香港日本人カトリック会では、毎週日曜日にハッピーバレーの教会で日本語のミサを行なっています。
司祭からのメッセージ
“香港日本人カトリック会”の歴史は50年以上にわたり、今も途絶えることなく活動を続けております。
香港において長い年月に渡り“香港日本人カトリック会”が続いてきた事は、日本人カトリック信者の信仰のあかしであり、更に霊的そして行動的あかしでもあります。
私、メリノール会のアダム神父は、幸いにもこの23年間“香港日本人カトリック会”と関わってきました。その間、海の波のように、会の人数も時に増えたり減ったりしました。
それでも変わらずに、日本の教区の教会同様、いろいろな典礼式も行ってきました。そして、香港に暮らす日本人カトリック信者の霊的な成長や宗教的教育を支えてまいりました。この事は、アジアのカトリック教会の普遍性を現していると思います。

注…アダム神父様は2019年12月にアメリカにご帰国されました。その後2020年4月に新型コロナ感染症のため、永眠されました。
The history of the Japanese Catholic Society of Hong Kong extends for more than fifty years. Today it is still "alive and well"---proof of the good Faith of the Japanese Catholics who have passed through Hong Kong over the years. Its present day existence is also a sign of the spirituality and vitality of the Japanese Catholics over the years.
I, Fr. Adam Gudalefsky, Maryknoll Missioner, have had the honor to be involved with the Japanese Catholic Society for the past twenty three years. As the waves of the sea, at times the numbers have increased and at times decreased.
It has experienced all of the liturgies, Church social activities that exist in parishes in Japan. It has enabled continued spiritual growth and religious education for Japanese Catholics during their term of living in Hong Kong. It has been a sign of the the universality of the Catholic Church in Asia. The hearts of the Japanese Catholic Society in Hong Kong are open to welcome all Japanese who wish to worship with them in Japanese! Yokoso!
